[the learning curve]
I have learned that sheer will
Can not overcome sheer force
I have learned that important decisions
Often hinge on momentary whims
I have learned many things
Most of them useless
I have learned of carrion flowers
Rising eerily purple from graves
I have learned about electricity
Magnetization, and such
And could care less.
These physical, real things
Are not really life
They are merely its components
Together they create something
More than the sum of the parts
