In This Issue....
Welcome back to Odds-n-Ends! This issue will be fairly short as I am still getting articles and information together. My mom, who runs the website (and is darned good at it, might I add) is also very busy this week.
This summer my newsletter will have a lot of the same features. Features will include Phillip the Fireman, The weekly Paul Picture (for those relatives in far aways states), and the weekly poll. I am even going to continue my weekly recipe however this summer all recipes will be about Jello! That's right, a weekly Jello recipe! Jello is not as boring as you might think.....
As always, this newsletter is free but donations are ALWAYS welcomed. Feedback and suggestions are also encouraged and please don't forget to sign my guestbook.

Weekly Jello
Yay! School is out, that means I now have time to write my newsletter! Instead of writing a couple articles, I decided to make this issue using one article (and other features i.e. Poll ETC.). Last year this newsletter was a donations only newsletter and it’s still cost free. This summer I have signed up for summer fun and donations will go towards summer fun trips. So any donations will be really appreciated.
SCHOOL
Well, this school year was pretty good. I participated in the spelling bee and got 4th place. This year I did not make it for track, as I did not get a chance to try out; Oh well, there’s always next year. Oh yeah, there’s also the very embarrassing incident involving me ripping my pants right down the back at recess. As for music, I still play clarinet and I had to play for quite a few concerts and parades. I have also determined that rotating classes is very confusing.
PHILLIP THE FIREMAN
Not much happened because there weren’t very many fires, he thinks that there was one fire in November and one in April (his first structure fire). The most that has happened recently were some medical calls and a week ago there was a search and rescue, but that turned into a search and recovery. In other news, Phillip is now PCF 2 (he was PCF 1). That means if there is a structure fire, he will be able to go inside the building because he has been trained more.
PAUL
We have been trying to potty train Paul and he recently got a new potty training video (Bear In The Big Blue House--Potty Time). The only drawback is that he wants to watch it about 5 times a day. We also got some finger paint recently and he really had fun with that.
MOM
Mom has made some new soap inventions: Soap Popsicles, Soap Lollipops, Soap cookies, and some soap Lemon/orange slices. Her latest creation and her best seller involves soap and bath products that use Hershey chocolate. The picture on the homepage sports me wearing her newly created chocolate/oatmeal mask.
Right now she is selling her stuff on three websites (hint, hint, hint) . She is also going to help me make some soap for a display at the Big Fresno Fair.
TRIPS AND TRAVELS
In November we all drove to Disney Land. Paul had a good time although he was tired and some of the rides scared him. Even though we could not stay and see the fireworks, we could go back to the hotel and watch them out of the window.
In March the whole family flew to Texas for a Crews family reunion. Paul had lots of fun, as so many people were spoiling him. It was my first time on plane and I enjoyed it very much, although I cannot say the same thing about mom. Mom was also not feeling well the entire time we were there. She was taking some new medicine for something and a couple of days before the trip she had the stove blow up in her face so she was sore.
