- I'm amazed at how our own community can't start a fund for
our Filipino WWII veterans. The goverment will never come
around to giving full benefits at a acceptable amount, so
why can't we do it??? We owe it to them as Filipinos and human
beings, in gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy now.
