SPIRIT WEST COAST

Spirit West Coast is a four day Christian music festival that occurs every summer at beautiful Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. There is great music, speakers, food, and fun; a fantastic time for singles, couples, families; "four days that will change your life forever." Keri and I, along with my sister Lani, have gone all three years, working in Hospitality/Catering (cooking and serving food to the bands and crew) and Artist Merchandise (selling the T-shirts, CD's, and other various product the artist has for sale). We have such a great time, that this is THE vacation for Keri and I; we wouldn't miss it for anything.

Top, I met Aaron and Jeoffrey Benward at the '97 SWC. Bottom left, Here I am with a favorite drummer of mine, Ben Cissel from Audio Adrenaline. Bottom right, two of the Reality Check band members.

Big Tent Revival was one of the few bands that performed at both the '97 and '98 Festival. Pictured above, here I am in the Artist Merch Tent with Big Tent Revival band members in '97. Pictured below left, Keri and her friend Janet making lunch for the bands and crew. Below right, Keri, Janet, and Jessica have some fun.

One of my favorite performances at Spirit West Coast '99
was by the British group Delirious. They rocked!
The band was also friendly and accommodating
when I asked for a photo.

Pete Stewart, former lead singer of Grammatrain,
also performed some songs from his new solo project.

Lani and I pose with funky band Raze at the '99 Spirit West Coast.

Cheesecake anyone? Besides sing, compose, arrange, and produce music,
Michael W. Smith proves he can make a funny face. Me, I can only make a funny face.

Tooth and Nail Records founder Brandon Ebel was at the '98 Festival.
