Hints and Tips
1. You can steal Megalixers from Earth Gaurds on the Solitary Island.
2. Steal economizers from Aquilas in the Pheonix Cave.
3. Equip Umaro with the Guantlet relic to raise his Battle Power and Defense.
4. Equip Gua with the Merit Award to make his rages stronger.
5. Equip the Offering, the Genji Glove, The Atma Weapon, and the Scimitar to deliver eight big blows per round. You can use this to defeat Chupon in the Collosium.
6. Kill Kefka instantly in the final battle by throwing the Atma Weapon at him.
7. Go to Gogo's ststus menu to give him almost any skill in the game.
8. Leap a Retainer on the Veldt and it's rage is Leo's shock.
9. To get lots of Magic Points and Gold Points go to the desert south of Maranda in the World of Ruin. Cactrots give 10,000 Gps and 10 Mps, and Hoovers give 7524 Exp, 5 Mps, and 10,000 Gps.
10. Steal a Ragnarok sword from the Doom stautue. You have to equip it during battle to hve it work though.
11. The best place to earn experiance in the World of Ruin is in the forest shaped like a dragons head. You might run into a Brachosaur which sometimes leaves Economizers. But beware this beast if fooled around with to long casts Ultima.
12. To beat Wrexsoul without killing any of your party members, just cast X-Zone on the Soul Savers. I did this and after the battle Edgar was wearing Magitek armor. But is was gone when I left Doma. That may be a gltch. If this happens to anyone else e-mail me and let me know if I'm not the only one it has happened to.
13. Locke can steal Magicite from Intangirs and Flans.
14. Take Relm and Gua and anyone else to the Veldt in any world. When Gua comes back from his Leap, sketch him before he says what he always says. If it works wierd stuff may happen, you might get 99 of every item or all your saved games will be erased.
15. Take Gua, Relm (or Gogo), Strago and someone else to the Veldt, and you will have the best learning team. Gua can learn his rages, and Relm or Gogo can sketch or control the monsters to make them do lores so Strago can learn them.
16. You can steal a second Atma Weapon from the Goddess statue in Kefka's Tower. As with the Doom statue you have to equip it in battle or it's useless.
17. Equip Relm with the Cat Hood and then go fight the Hoovers and Cactrots in the desert near Maranda. You will get 20,000 GP per battle.
18. Go to the Triangle Island in the World of Ruin with Relm in your party. After the first person is sucked up have Relm sketch. You should get a glitch and lots of items.
19. Go to Zozo with Relm and Edgar. Sketch a vanished Gabledegak and Edgar might turn into Leo. Submitted by Gammon.
20. If you end up with a lot of Behemoth Suits in the World of Ruin like I do, then make them usefull. Since they can only be worn by Relm and Strago, bet two of them at the Colesium. You can get a handy Snow Muffler which can be worn by Mog, Gua and Umaro. Umaro already has it when you get him. The Snow Muffler is probably the best armor for Mog and Gua. A Tyranosaur attacked Mog and only did about 66 damage. That is very low compared to the normal 500 and up that they do to everyone else.
21. In my opinion this is the best way to gain levels and learn spells. Take two people to the desert near Maranda in the World of Ruin. Make sure that one of those people can kill the Cactrot, Edgar, Sabin, Shadow, Cyan, Gua, Strago, Relm, or Gogo. And make sure that they both know Doom to kill the Hoovers more easily without him killing you with his SandStorm. Now learn all the spells here because Cactrots give 10 Mps and Hoovers give 5. Once they both know all the spells take them to the Forest shaped like a dragons head("Jurassic Park"), with Exp. Eggs equiped. Here you can gain levels and take advantage of the esper power-ups, it may take a long time, but it is worth it to try and get everyone to level 99.
22. Locke can steal Muscle Belts from the Hades Gigas. Submitted by Pejy Jovic.
23.In the Ancient Castle, learn Meteor from Odin before visiting the Petrified Queen. Learn Quick from Raiden. Finally, snatch the Gem Box from the top of Fanatic's Tower. Now take your Quick and Meteor character, equip him with the Gem Box, and put GoGo in his party. Use XMagic, cast Quick and Meteor, then (during the Quick spell) cast Meteor twice. Make sure GoGo mimics all this business. And presto! No matter what enemy you encounter, this Quick/Meteor/Mimic combo will do serious damage. Submitted by: Evan Macbride.
24.in the WOB, you can get 10 MP by casting Doom on an Intangir. Submitted by David Williamson.
