I am the Sinner

I am the sinner,
nobody's perfect,
especially me.
I am the sinner,
the bad boy,
so you better leave me be.
I sit home alone,
as my punishment you see,
for I am the sinner,
and being a sinner is utterly lonely.
I keep on sinning,
even though guilt is deep within me.
And I wish that I could stop
and live my life right,
for I am the sinner,
alone in the night.
Alone in the night,
I sin my soul away,
and I wish I could stop,
But the temptation is too strong.
Please God help me!
The choices get much harder
as the days carry on.
I have seen the days go by,
saddened and alone,
but now I have a chance,
and I have to do it on my own.
So, from now on I must give it my best try,
in order to be guilt free,
and no longer live a lie.
For as long as I can see heavens's golden door,
then I can truly show my love,
and sin no more.
