March 1                                              San Marino, California
Golden Statements Bonsai Federation: Spring Board Meeting
from 9AM-3PM at the Huntington Gardens Botanical Center. All board members and committee members are expected to attend the meeting. All GSBF club members are welcome to attend. We’ll hold our board meetings in conjunction with the annual fundraising events. From now on, our meetings will occur at each event in alternating years. We will hold our meeting on just one of the days (expecting committee work, meetings and reports to be completed among the involved parties before the main board meeting). This year, the main meeting will be on Sunday, March 1. That way, participating board members and officers can actually take part in and enjoy the Saturday portion of the event as well as conducting our essential business. The biggest long-term benefit is that it will give our GSBF Board the chance to get more engaged in the respective collections, so more folks from the south will be exposed to the event and collection in Oakland, and more folks in the north will experience what the BAT and HG collection is all about.
