September Meetings
All 2006 meetings will be Joint meetings and will be in the large upstairs room at the Heather Farm Garden Center, Walnut Creek. Meetings are scheduled on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 7:30PM to 9:30PM.
Meetings start at 7:30PM with a brief business meeting, and end at 9:30PM.
Please be ready to meet at 7:30PM.
There are no meetings scheduled for August
Tuesday - September 5th, 7:30PM, Board Meeting, Charlotte Wood School, Danville.
Wednesday, September 20th, - 7:30pm. Joint Class Meeting.
Lecture 7:30-8:00pm - Balance of tree in the bonsai pot. Branch Development II. .
Workshop 8:00 - 9:30.
Refreshments and help with cleanup and close: Nick Nickleson and Byron Nobriga.
Diablo Bonsai Club Look Ahead Schedule

August 19-20, San Francisco San Francisco Suiseki Kai 25th Annual Exhibit at the Sakura Room of the Radisson Miyako Hotel, Japan Town.
August 26-27 Santa Rosa, Redwood Empire Bonsai Society 23rd Annual Bonsai Show at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Ave. Show hours are Saturday 10AM-5PM and Sunday 10AM-4PM. Demonstrations by bonsai master Kathy Shaner at 1:30PM both days. Web page: www.rebsbonsai.org.
September 16-17 San Mateo, San Mateo Bonsai Club 43rd Annual Fall Bonsai Exhibit at the San Mateo Central Park Recreation Center, 50 East 5th Avenue. Hours are Saturday 12NOON-5PM and Sunday 10AM-4PM. Demonstration both days at 2PM.
September 23, San Jose, Midori Bonsai Club 45th Annual Bonsai Show at St. Edwards Episcopal Church, 15040 Union Avenue (Union Ave. at Hwy 85). Hours are 10AM-5PM. Demonstration by John Thompson. Public workshop/clinic in the morning.
