Base:
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 1/3 cup butter or oleo, softened
- 1 egg
Filling:
- 1 cup raspberry preserves
- 1 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 (12 oz) pkg. vanilla milk chips, melted
Glaze:
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 2 Tbsp butter or oleo
- Heat oven to 350°. Grease 15x10x1 baking pan. In large bowl, combine all Base ingredients; mix until crumbly and press in bottom of greased pan. Bake at 350° for 8-12 min, until crust puffs and appears dry. Cool 5 min. Spread preserves over base. Cool completely.
- In small bowl, combine cream cheese and milk; beat till smooth. Add warm melted vanilla chips; beat till smooth. Carefully spread over preserves.
- In small saucepan over low heat, melt glaze ingredients, stirring constantly till smooth. Drizzle over filling. Chill 1 hour. Cut in to bars. Serve chilled. Store in refrigerator.
