Spare Ribs and Sauerkraut
  1. Divide spareribs into serving pieces. Wipe with cold, damp cloth and sprinkle with salt.
  2. Put in pot and cover with cold water.
  3. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  4. Add sauerkraut; return to the boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.

I like bacon, onions, and smoked sausage in mine.
