- 2 lb spareribs
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups sauerkraut
- Divide spareribs into serving pieces. Wipe with cold, damp cloth and sprinkle with salt.
- Put in pot and cover with cold water.
- Bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- Add sauerkraut; return to the boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes.
I like bacon, onions, and smoked sausage in mine.
