- 1 1/2 cups dry lima beans
- 6 pork chops
- 1/3 cup catsup
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- Soak lima beans overnight.
- Salt the water and cook the beans until almost soft. Drain off water and save it.
- Brown chops in 3 tablespoons of oil or butter and remove from pan.
- In a bowl, mix catsup, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper into 1 1/2 cups of the water drained from the beans.
- Add the beans and mix well. Place in a casserole or baking dish and place pork chops on top.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour.
