N'awlins Oyster and Shrimp Bake
  1. Boil shrimp for 2 minutes. Remove and peel, devein and set aside.
  2. Put oyster liquid in a small saucepan; add oysters and cook about 2 minutes, till edges curl. Drain and reserve liquid.
  3. Put oysters in with shrimp.
  4. Melt butter and add flour, salt and cayenne, stirring till smooth. Add oyster liquid and enough Half & Half to make a 'medium white sauce' consistency.
  5. Add half of bread crumbs and green onions. Stir in the shrimp and oysters.
  6. Put mixture into lightly greased baking dish. Sprinkle remainder of bread crumbs over top.
  7. Bake at 350° for approximately 25 minutes, until mixture is bubbly and crumbs are lightly browned.
