- 4 large chicken split breasts
- 1 and 1/2 cups of raw rice
- 1 Tbsp chicken Bullion Base
- About 4 cups of water
- salt and pepper, or lemon pepper
- 1/4 cup lemon juice concentrate
- Wash the split breasts. Put them in a roaster with the skin..(I cook the skin on to keep it moist, and then feed it to the cats and dogs).
- Add the water and the chicken bullion base, making it dissolve.
- Pierce the breasts with a fork and add salt and pepper.
- Pour on the lemon juice.
- Bake for half an hour (no temperature given -- Deni), then add the rice, and cook till done.
I watch it and if the water gets all absorbed, I just add some more. (I like moist rice.)
