Hungarian Pork Chops (Low Fat)
  1. Brown chops in oil in heavy skillet. Pour off fat.
  2. Mix seasonings together and sprinkle over chops.
  3. Add water to skillet. Reduce heat, cover tightly and simmer 1 hour or until tender. Add more water if necessary.
  4. Remove chops and keep warm.
  5. Stir yogurt into liquid in the pan and mix well.
  6. Heat but do not boil.

Serve sauce over chops. Done this way, it is approximately 150 calories per serving.

Instead of onion powder and garlic powder, I saute thinly sliced onions and minced garlic and add to the chops along with the seasonings. I also use sour cream instead of yogurt so rather than 150 calories it is considerably higher.
