- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condenesed milk
- Dash salt
- Walnuts, if desired (may use chopped, well-drained maraschino cherries)
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- In a saucepan over low heat (or in microwave) melt chips with the sweetened condensed milk and salt.
- Remove from heat and add walnuts and/or cherries and vanilla.
- Spread into 8 or 9 inch pan and chill 2 hours.
