- 14 chocolate wafers
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioner's sugar
- 1 egg
- few drops almond flavoring
- 1/2 pint whipping cream - whipped
- 1/2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- Crush chocolate wafers, and place in pie plate.
- Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix till smooth. Add almond flavoring. Spread this mixture on crust.
- Whip cream with sugar.
- Mix vanilla into pecans and fold into whipped cream. Spread this on first mixture.
- Cover with more crushed wafers.
- Chill several hours or overnight before serving.
NOTE: If you can't find chocolate wafers, you can use the cookie part of Oreos.
