- 2 lbs stew meat
- 2-3 carrots, scraped & cut into rounds
- 2 onions, quartered
- 3-4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 cup soft bread crumbs
- salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne, oregano to taste**
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Put all ingredients into large pot or Dutch Oven. Barely cover with water. Stir once.
- Cover and bake 4 to 5 hours at 250°. Meat will brown while cooking.
** Use any or all of the seasonings listed. I use all of 'em.
