- 4-5 deboned chicken breasts OR 8-10 chicken breast strips
- 1 can Cream of Celery OR Cream of Broccoli soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 cups crushed saltines or buttery crackers
- 4 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
- Salt
- Cayenne pepper
- Sprinkle salt & cayenne on chicken pieces.
- Dip into mixture of soup and milk, then into cracker crumbs.
- Repeat.
- Put into lightly greased baking dish. Drizzle with melted butter.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake 25 minutes at 350°.
- Remove foil and bake 15 minutes, till golden brown.
- (Note: If using the strips, decrease baking time to 20 minutes and 10 minutes.)
