- 1 pkg Cream Cheese
- 1 tub (16 oz) Sour Cream
- 1/2 to 1 cup shredded chedder cheese
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 pkg crispy bacon, cut up
- 1 loaf sourdough bread
- Slice a 'lid' off the top of the bread. Hollow out the lower section, reserving removed bread in a sealed plastic bag for later serving.
- Mix all other ingredients together and place into the bread. Replace lid.
- Wrap loaf with aluminum foil and bake at 375° for 30 minutes. Carefully unwrap foil, remove lid and stir the cheese mixture. Rewrap and continue baking for another 30 minutes.
- Use reserved bread and other assorted crackers for dipping.
