Cinnamon Swirl Wuick Bread
  1. Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  2. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and remaining sugar. Set aside.
  3. Combine buttermilk, eggs and oil. Stir in flour mixture until just combined.
  4. Grease the bottom only of a 9X5x3" loaf pan. Pour half the batter into pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Carefully spread the remaining batter and sprinkle top with remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Swirl knife through batter.
  7. Bake at 350° for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool in pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool.
  9. Combine glaze mixture. Place bread on a sheet of waxed paper and drizzle drizzle glaze over bread.

Makes 1 loaf.
