Cherry Muffins
  1. Cut cherries in half (or chop in food processor).
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, 1/2 cup sugar and salt in mixing bowl.
  3. In a small bowl beat together eggs, milk and butter. Stir into flour mixture, just to blend. Add cherries.
  4. Stir together 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Bake at 400° for 15-20 minutes.

Makes 12 regular or 6 jumbo muffins.
