- 2 medium cabbages
- 3 carrots
- 1 onion
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp celery seed
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Shred cabbage, carrot, and onion.
- Combine vinegar, oil, sugar, celery seed, and salt and boil for 3 minutes.
- Allow to cool to room temperature, then pour over shredded cabbage mixture and marinate overnight in a cool place.
