I don't have a name for this. I just make it. I'm making it tonight to take to my son's, but I won't bake it till I get ready to serve it.
- 2 (14 oz) cans artichoke hearts, drained
- 1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
- 2 Tbsp flour
- dash of cayenne
- dash of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup milk (may need a little more)
- 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- Make a cream sauce using the butter, flour, cayenne, garlic powder and milk. Set aside.
- Drain cans of artichokes and place in lightly sprayed 9 x 9 baking dish.
- Pour cream sauce over all. Sprinkle with grated cheese, then with bread crumbs.
- Bake, uncovered for 25 minutes at 350°.
