Apple Crisp
  1. Prepare the apples sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  2. Arrange apples evenly in a 1.5 litre (1.5 quart) baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Add water and mix to coat the apples.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and add the brown sugar. Blend in oats, flour and cinnamon. Mix by hand until mixture is crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle batter evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake at 375° for 30-35 minutes or until topping is golden.
