- 16 cups of fresh apple sauce (use 7 large apples cored and peeled, 2 cups of water and boil apples until well done, then push through a sieve)
- 3 lb brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp powdered cinnamon
- 1 cup crushed pineapples
- Combine all ingredients and bake at 350° for 3 hours.
- Stir every 20 minutes or so.
- Pour into jars and seal.
Yields 5 quarts. Great on toast!
