- 1 cup Milk
- 2 Tbsp Butter or Margarine
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Corn Starch
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 1 cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
- Melt butter & cheese in a sauce pan. Add corn starch, salt & pepper and blend well.
- Remove from heat, gradually add milk, mixing until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Makes 1 cup sauce. Use over cauliflower or broccoli.
