Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat together margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt separately. Add to butter mixture and blend well.
  4. Stir in oats and raisins; mix well.
  5. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
  8. For Bar Cookies: Bake 30-35 minutes in ungreased 9 x 13" metal baking pan.
