Stuffed Mushrooms
  1. Remove stems from mushroom and set aside caps.
  2. Chop stems.
  3. Sauté onions and chopped stems in the butter until tender. Remove from heat. Stir in cheese and bacon.
  4. Sprinkle mushroom caps with salt and fill caps with bacon and cheese mixture.
  5. Place in shallow baking pan and bake for 15 minutes in a 400°F oven.

Prepare Ahead of Time: Prepare mushrooms and place in baking pan. Refrigerate covered until ready to put in the oven.

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Remove stems from mushrooms.
  3. Combine garlic, bread crumbs, cheeses, butter, parsley and salt in bowl.
  4. Stuff mushrooms with mixture and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
