Smothered Chicken in a Crockpot
  1. Salt and pepper chicken pieces.
  2. Brown quickly in small amount of oil, piercing chicken as it browns.
  3. Drain and put into crockpot.
  4. Stir the Kitchen Bouquet (gravy darkener) into soup and water; pour over chicken.
  5. Cook on Low for several hours, or all day.
