- 1 Tbsp oil
- 4 pork chops
- 1 clove of garlic, smushed
- 2 tsp oil
- 4 Tbsp dry sherry, wine, or broth
- 4 Tbsp soya sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp crushed red peppers
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp water
- Heat the oil in a skillet, brown meat on both sides.
- Mix garlic, oil, sherry, soya sauce, brown sugar & red pepper. Pour over chops and cover tightly.
- Simmer 30 - 35 minutes. Add a few tablespoons of water if needed.
- Mix cornstarch with water, add to pan and cook until thickened.
- Serve over buttered noodles.
