• 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 tsp flour
• 1/2 cup boiling water
• 1/3 cup rum

1. Place butter, brown sugar and flour in saucepan. Blend thoroughly and add boiling water.
2. Cook over low heat until thick and clear. Remove from heat and stir in rum.

Excellent on bread pudding.
