Raw Apple Cake

This is my very favorite cake. I never frost it, that takes away from the cake I think. I put a little powdered sugar on top sometimes and I think a spoonful of whipped topping adds to it especially if you are serving to guests.

  1. Combine flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon. Stir in eggs and oil.
  2. Stir in apples, nuts and vanilla.
  3. This makes a very thick batter and needs to be spread around in a 9 x 13" pan with the back of a spoon.
  4. Bake at 325°F until center springs back when touched.
