Moran's Riverside Noodles
  1. Place a large pot with the water over high heat. Add the salt. Bring the water to a boil.
  2. When the water is boiling turbulently, add the noodles, separting them with a long-handled fork. (Homemade noodless take one-quarter of the time to cook than store-bought noodles.)
  3. Place the pan or bowl you will mix the pasta in over the pot.
  4. When the pasta is cooked to your liking, drain approximately 98% of the water.
  5. Place the noodles in the preheated pan or bowl along with the butter. Stir gently until the butter is melted, adding half of the cheese and half of the cream.
  6. Continue to mix, and add the remainder of the cheese. If more moisture is needed, add the rest of the cream.
  7. Stir for a few seconds and serve, adding freshly ground pepper.
