- 1 box or bag vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
- 3 large egg yolks, beaten with fork
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Crush vanilla wafers, reserving enough to line sides of pie plate by standing them up on sides. Mix crumbs with melted butter (or margarine) and sugar and press into bottom of pie plate.
- Chill crust for 30 minutes.
- Mix condensed milk, egg yolks, and lemon juice. Pour over crust. Chill. (Can serve as is, or can make meringue from whites, then brown in oven.)
