Italian Cheese Bread

Easy to make and a great hit when served warm with olive oil and blasamic vinegar.

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar and yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine water and oil; add to flour mixture.
  3. Add additional flour if needed to form a soft dough.
  4. Turn onto a floured surface; knead for 1-2 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place in an oiled bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.
  6. Punch the dough down; place on a greased 12" pizza pan and pat into a 12 inch circle.

    Topping:

  7. Brush with salad dressing. Combine the seasonings and sprinkle over top. Sprinkle with cheeses.
  8. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
