Low-Fat Home-Made Ice Cream
  1. Boil milk and cream together, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat and add sugar and vanilla.
  3. Cool in the freezer and then add to ice cream maker. When partly frozen add 1/2 cup fruit to the mixture.

For a heartier ice cream, use 2 cups whole milk and 2 cups cream.
