Errors in Magickal Texts


The authors of these books may claim that their errors were deliberate. If so, I think this is a poor way to operate. To the best of my knowledge, these corrections are correct. -Fratre V.E.C.

p.103 YHVH: Y corresponds to Chokmah, H corresponds to Binah

p.120 AURIEL ends with Lamed.

p.152 MIZRACH has a Zayin, not a Vau.

p.189 GABRIEL needs a Yod.

p.242 The first Vau in TZABAOTH needs to be replaced with a Beth.

The sigil for PISON is wrong; check it on the Rose.

p.270-276 There are differences between these rituals and the Golden Dawn versions.

p.64 RATZIEL is spelled with a Tzaddi, not a Zayin.

p.65 ZAZEL might be spelled Zayin Zayin Aleph Lamed.

p.79 HIDDIKEL should start with a Heh, not a Cheth.

p.153 There's an extra knock at the end of the Hiereus line.

p.313 The Rose is wrong! Tau and Caph need to be switched (Kraig's Rose is correct).

p.485 and 498 If ZAZEL is spelled ZZAL, you'll get different sigils.

p.499 The sigil for GRAPHIEL is drawn wrong.

p.500 In the Magic square of Venus, the square in row 2, column 3 should be a 48, not a 43. The sigil for HAGIEL is drawn wrong.

p.501 The sigil for Tiriel is drawn wrong.

p.541 The 5 of Swords is Venus in Aquarius.

p.542 Fool = Air, Hanged Man = Water.

p.643 3 of Swords is Saturn in Libra, 5 of Cups is Mars in Scorpio, Jupiter in Aries should read Venus in Aries.

p.664 The colors indicated on the God Forms aren't quite as described on pp. 354-358.
