Aj was walking around, trying to figure out what just happened.
"Why is this happening to her? She doesn't deserve this. Why do the people I love seem to always disappear?" Aj thought when he realized what he thought.
"I love her." He said out loud. "I love her."
I was in my bedroom waiting for Aj to come home. I know it hurt him, I didn't understand why so much but it did. I could tell in his eyes. At around 2 in the morning Aj walked in, I was laying in the bed trying to concentrate on a book I was reading but to no avail. I heard the door open and I ran out of the room to see AJ looking straight at me. He came over to me and just held me. He didn't want to let go, but finally he looked into my eyes.
"I am so sorry, so sorry I wasn't there for you when you needed some-one, but when you told me you might not make it, my mind went blank. I couldn't think about living without you. But I just want you to know I'll be there every step of the way. Ok?" He said softly. I nodded my head. He changed so much, I wish I would've known he'd be like this. I would've never said any bad thing about him, I would've just tried to make him mine
"You know we sound like we're together or something." I chuckled softly, but I didn't see him smile.
"Why can't we?" He asked. I looked up at him. "What?" He just gazed into my eyes and no words were needed, he softly leaned down and let his lips press down on mine. When he pulled up I couldn't hide the shock that I felt. I wanted that kiss so bad, but it wasn't right.
"No." I whispered and I ran outside, into the coldness of the night, away from the one man I'm in love with.
