4 years later
Brian and me were at a big Christmas party his parents had held, and throughout it Brian seemed a little nervous.
"Oh my god, how am I gonna do this Nick? I mean what if she says no, I don't think…." Brian said nervously.
"God Brian you know she's gonna say yes. SO stop being so fidgety, you're making me nervous." Nick said slightly annoyed. That's when it was time.
"Ok, I can do this." Brian thought to himself and walked over to me.
"Excuse me everybody, can I have your attention? I would like to make an announcement, or actually ask a question. To the most wonderful girl in the world, Katherine Brown."
When he said that I started to blush furiosly. HE turned around and faced me, then took one of my hands.
"Katherin Brown, for these past 4 years, I have been the happiest man alive. You were the person who I have loved these years, and will love for the rest of my life. Through everything you stood by me and understood me better then anyone else. When I was little I used to dream about the perfect girl, and you match her completely. You stole my heart, and I as long as it is with you, I don't want it back, because I think it can not be in a better place." A tear left my eye then he got down on one knee. I gasped.
"Kat, I love you more then anything, and I couldn't think of being any happier then I am with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I promise not to let you go. Because if I do, I will be losing the most important thing in my life. Katherin Brown, will you marry me?" He reached inside his pocket and held a black box, he opened it and there was the most gorgeous engagement ring I have ever seen. I couldn't say really anything so I whispered "Yes." I let my tears of happiness slip down my cheeks. He took the ring out of the box and slipped it on my finger. Everyone was cheering and chanting "Go Brian, Go Brian, It's your birthday." He laughed a little and got up. Then kissed me, his kiss took my breath away. It was soft and sweet, but still lingered on for who knows how long. He pulled away and wrapped his arms around me and twirled me around screaming, "Yes, she said yes!" I started to laugh and finally he put me down and kissed me again. We went around everybody started congratulating us. Then I reached Brian's parents. Jackie was the first one to come to me and wrap her arms around me.
"Congratulations" she said.
"Thanks Jackie,"
"Call me mom." She said and I looked at her and hugged her again.
"Ok…..Mom."
