"Kat, are you ok?" Brian asked and walked into the room a little more.
"Yeah, I'm ok Brian, it wasn't anything serious." I answered quietly.
"Then do you think we can talk about…..Well…..what happened before this?"
"What's there to talk about?"
"Kat, please, I really need to know something."
"Yes?"
"DO you really love me?"
I was quiet, I mean what can you say, "Oh yes Brian I love you." And then have all your heart broken because he doesn't love you back. He turned me around and made me face him. He knew I wouldn't lie to him if I looked him in the eyes.
"Do you love me?" He asked softly. I stared into his blue eyes and fell more in love with him.
"Yes." I whispered and turned away, but he cupped the side on my cheek and made me face him again.
"Kat, I love you too." He said. I looked at him and I looked in his eyes, all I saw was love. The love he had for me.
"Kat be mine, be mine forever." He said softly but it was more of a beg, "let me be the one to hold you through the night, just be mine."
Tears started coming down my cheeks, "As long as you promise not to let go." I whispered. He pulled me in his arms and held me there. Then he titled my head up and looked into my eyes.
"I love you." I said
"Not as much as I love you." He whispered and lowered his head towards mine and our lips met. He pulled away gently and looked at me. He moved a strand of hair that had fallen over my face and kissed me again. What I felt in that kiss is something I will never forget, or be able to describe. But it was the most perfect thing in my life.
