Danielle, coming back from the police, slammed the door shut, jolting
everyone to life.
"Where were you?" Jennifer asked, feeling weird that she didn't know where
Danielle was.
"I went to the police station." Danielle said.
"You did?" AJ asked. "...Yes." Danielle said.
"What did you learn?" Nick asked, still looking at the picture.
"Erin, was pronounced dead last Monday." Danielle said.
Everyone, turned from the picture, and looked at Danielle.
"And?" Jennifer said.
"What else do you want to know? Oh, here's something that will shock you.
Not only did she die, and not only is she now officially dead, it was
suicide." Danielle said. "And this is a note to AJ that she wrote before
she...what's the words, killed herself. Oh, wait, sorry, it was to all of us."
AJ just stared at the piece of paper in Danielle's hand.
"'Everybody. I am sorry about what happened 1 month ago, and I wish that
we could've put it all behind us.'" it started.
Kevin, got up from the floor, and walked to the calendar. It happened one
month ago, yesterday. Why is this all happening? Today! Why? Why him?
"Guys, do you notice anything?" Kevin asked, wondering if they knew what
today was.
"No, not really." Jennifer said, scared of what Kevin may say.
"One month ago, yesterday, 'the accident' happened." Kevin said.
Brian just looked at his cousin, expecting him to fall to the floor again,
and just lay there, lifeless, motionless, hardly doing anything, just lay there.
"One month? Yesterday? Why is this all happening? Now? Why? How? I
don't get it! I want it all to just stop! I want it to stop! Make it
stop!" Jennifer screamed. "Make it stop. Make it go away. Make it go
away! Go away!"
"Jennifer?" Nick asked, turning around.
"Make it go away. Make it all stop! Make it stop! I can't take anymore!
I can't take anymore! Stop!" Jennifer screamed from her lungs.
Everybody looked at her, screaming, crying out for help.
"We have got to do something." Brian said, looking at her.
Jennifer, suddenly, fell from her chair, to the floor. She started to
pummel the floor, violently, pummeling the floor.
"Make it go away!" Jennifer couldn't stop screaming. "Make it go away."
Jennifer started to cry, she didn't know what was going on.
"Jennifer?" AJ said, looking at her beating the floor. "Jennifer?"
"I can't take anymore. Make it all go away! Take it back! Make it go
back! I can't...take...any...more!" Jennifer could hardly sputter from her
mouth.
"Jennifer?" Brian looked at her.
Suddenly, to Jennifer, the lights, went out.
"What just freaking happened to her?" Nick asked, falling straight to where
she was laying. "What?"
"I am pretty sure, not 100%, but, 99.999%, she fainted." Danielle said.
"Sure of yourself?" Nick asked, trying to joke around.
"Yeah. That's one of a few things that I am sure of of the moment."
Danielle said, hoping that this WAS a dream, and that she would wake up.
Everyone, was again, silent.
A few minutes later, Jennifer came back to conciousness.
"What just happened to me?" Jennifer asked. "Is it all a dream? Did
everything go away? Is it all gone? Is it?"
Everybody just stood there, or sat there, not saying anything, hoping that
the subject would change. Needless to say, it never did.
