"Karen! We have to go to the Carter's Now! Come on!" Karen's mom yelled up the stairs.
"Coming!" Karen said and ran down the stairs.
Karen and her mom walked to the Carter's and rang the doorbell. Jane answered the door.
"Karen! It's so good to see you!" Jane said and hugged her real tight.
"You to Jane" Karen said and hugged her back.
Karen to the family and saw everyone. She gave all the kids hugs and said hello to them.
"Well, at least I get to see the rest of the kids, god Aaron looks so much like his younger brother." Karen thought, but then cleared her mind and played with them.

"Come on, Come on, Come on you stupid plane!" Nick said to himself and looked out the window. "Why can't you go any faster?"
Nick looked out the window and thought about being with his family. Opening presents, the big dinner, singing songs, but mostly he thought about Karen. Karen always came every Christmas. When Her father died, he invited her and her mother to spend Christmas with them. Now it was a ritual and he wouldn't have it any other way. This was going to be his first Christmas without his family, but now he gets to go home.
"I wonder what Karen thinks, I hope she's not mad." Nick thought and looked out the window again.
