Merry Meet!
I am Ariadne (Lisa) Morningstar. I live in the Antelope Valley of California, which is in the High Desert near Edwards Airforce Base. I moved here when my hustband changed employers. I am a (now, thanks to his employment change) a full time mother of three, ages 15 years, 14 years and 5months. We moved up here from Orange County, California, leaving behind a coven and all of our family, so I have reached our on the internet to meet other pagans and witches. Upon moving, my husband and I created a coven of three members, of which I am a Third Degree High Priestess, Dragon's Weyr Circle, an eclectic British Traditional Wiccan coven. By that I mean we use more than one name for God and Goddess, and it is a secret tradition, requiring an oath of secrecy from our coven members. We meet on Esbats and Moons, and to hold classes for novices. My coven members are currently all ones whom I have taught. Only people who have studied with us for a year and a day, and made the oath of secrecy, may join our coven's rituals. We usually teach only those people who are known to coven members or the High Priest/ess (Me.) Since we did not know anyone when we moved out here, I went to http://www.witchvox.com to their witches of the world listing to see if there were any people out here. I saw a place to list my coven so I did, and then had quite a few people respond. So along with some other witches, we created a social group in our area to meet at a local restaurant once a month to talk and share, calling it "Antelope Valley Pagans". It's a goal of mine to be able to offer public sabats for solitaries, seekers and other interested parties in the Antelope Valley, and all are welcome. I am so excited to see that the "Old Religion" is alive and well in the Antelope Valley. My coven is a member of Covenant of the Goddess, a networking organization of covens and solitaries, and I hold an Elder credential with them, which means I am a legal minister and can marry you (g).
