This is basically a rollercoaster where you shoot stuff. Sound easy enough? Not hardly. This game takes wuick relexes and a sharp eye. The enemies move fast. One thing you should always do is NEVER hold down your shoot button. It drains quickly. (but also refills quickly) The less laser power you have, the weaker you hit the enemies. If you collest 3,000 or more points you will get a prize. If you do REALLY good you will recieve the Parasol. I recomend you tap the shoot button to his 'em with small but powerful blasts.
The average enemy will give you 30 to 70 points when they are killed. However, there is a super target that gives you 1000-2000 points, which is good. Near the end of the course you might encounter a UFO. That's the guy with the 1000-200 points. Another target that will get you some points, is a yellow boulder in the desert on top of the canyon wall. This gives you 200 points. Not bad eh?
If you still want more details on these bad guys, here is a list of ALL the bad guys and what they are worth (in order of appearance):
This is just a little ride. It's only importance, it that you get to ride it with Aeris. I think it is very entertaining and cute. It's worth the 3 minutes of your time. (And the gil)
Wonder is really cool. It's kinda like an arcade. Some of the games here are mini games you encounter during the real game. But a lot of them are just like things you'll find in an arcade. You will probably waste tons of money here, but sometimes, it's worth it.
******ARM WRESTLING MEGA SUMO******
Cost: 100 Gil Rating: Not worth the money you spend
In this game, you can arm wrestle either a Sumo Wrestler or a Wrestler. Both of them are pretty easy to beat. Tap the CIRCLE button until you win. You recieve one Gil from the Sumo and 2 from the Wrestler.
******SUPER DUNK******
Cost: 200 Gil Rating:pretty cool! If you get the hang of it, you can get some GP.
The game is played like this. If you shoot the ball into the basket, you get another shot. If you fail to throw the ball into the basket, the game ends. You get one piece of Gil for every shot you make correctly. The way I played it was by quickly counting to three (not in seconds, but faster) and letting go. If you are able to score 10 baskets in a row, you can play Double Chance. If you make the shot, they'll double your amount of GP. But if you miss, you get one gil and the game is over.
******WONDER CATCHER******
Cost: 100 Gil Rating: Well....you waste tonnes of many on this
This game is really easy. Just drop in your 100 gil and you either get a small amount of GP, a potion...Sometimes 2 GP :)
******3D BATTLER******
Cost: 200 Gil Rating: A cool game!!
This fighting game plays a lot like "paper, rock, sissors." You pick an attack and your opponent picks an attack. If the attacks are the same, no one takes damage. If one player's attack beats the other's attack, the losing player takes a hit. The first person to deliver 10 successful hits to his opponent wins. The attacks are as follows:
******FORTUNE TELLING******
Cost: 50 Gil Rating: Cool if you wanna know the future
Give this machine 50 Gil and it will give a small glimpse into the future. Don't play this several times on the same visit though. You fortune won't change until you leave Wonder Square....
******MOG'S HOUSE******
Cost: 100 Gil Rating: The cutest game in Wonder Square *smiles *
The point of the game is to help the Mog to fly. Give him Kupo nuts to give him the strength. If you don't give enough nuts, he will be too weak. If you give him too much, he'll be too stuffed to even move. (we all know what that feels like eh?) To know how much nuts to give him, you need to listen to his reactions. If he wants more, his stomach will grumble and he'll rub his little tummy. When he's had enough, he'll squeak and into the air. Stop with the nuts and he'll fly. If you still can't get it, feed him 5 nuts the first time and 3 the second time! Plus, after beating this game, talk to the lady in the dress nearby ( it is a girl right ). She'll give you 30 GP. Coolies :)
******G BIKE******
Cost: 200 Gil Rating: A cool 3D motorcycle game
The object of this game, is to keep the bad cycles off the wimpy blue truck. There are, however, two types of cycles: Red and Orange. The Orange Cycles are the not so smart one's of the pack and they just go right for you. The Red Cycles are real smart however. Instead of trying to ram you like the others, they run from you. They sort of draw you away from the wimpy blue truck. With you occupied by these red pests, the others hit their target easily. Sucks eh? Try your best to stay near the wimpy blue truck. Hit all cycles when they pass. If one get past your cautious watch, don't attack him unless he hits the wimpy blue truck. If he backs off, don't chase him-make him come to you. It's possible to push over enemy Cycles with your bike, but it's much slower than using you sword. You can also topple enemies by using the "domino effect." If you knock over a Cycle in front of another enemy, it causes them to collide. Cycles are worth 500 points, but each time the enemy hits the wimpy blue truck, you lose 25 points. If you do well, you'll receice a small amount of Gil, but if you do really well you'll recieve a decent amout of Gil and an item. I've done this before...and I think you at least get 20 GP...I'm not sure, I haven't done it for awhile!
******SNOWBOARDING******
Cost: 200 Gil Rating: My personal fave game ( gotta love snowboarding )
In this game, you have a choice of 3 different courses. Beginner, Expert, and Crazy ( definatly not for me , hehe ). Each cource is harder because they add more obstacles, increase your speed, and make tigher turns. You can earn points by grabbing the balloons as they go by. Red ones are worth one, blues are worth three, and greens are worth five. You are also scored on your techinque. If you go through the course without hitting a wall, you get a perfect score. Not all stumbles deduct points however. If you hit a mog while it's on it's sled, you lose no points. If you hit a Mog after it's falled off it's sled, you lose one point. If you do well, you can get a little GP and an item. (I got 20 GP and a Safety Bit) If you are really good at this game, you can get a yellow balloon. This sets up the Time Attack mode. Set a record, and you can try to beat it by racing a ghost Mog of the best time.
******SUBMARINE GAME******
Cost: 200 Gil Rating: ok if your good at it
This game isn't available until after you've stolen your own submarine and fought with a Shinra Submarine. Before the game begins, you're given five choices. You can either reenact the battle at the underwater Mako Reactor or you can choose from the four original levels. The levels get progressively harder by increasing either the amount of enemy subs or the ability and toughness of the enemy commanders. The amount of GP you recieve if the same regardless of the difficulty level. During a battle, you can shoot as many as four torpedoes at a time. Try to lock onto your target and unload the whole group, which is normally enough to make out an atively short range, so get close before opening fire. If the enemy gets a lock on you, speed up and dive deep. This will normally shake the torpedoes of your tail. Mines are the small polygons on top of the square comumns. You can pass through the columns with taking damage, but don't go too high. Be careful when you enter the sonar screen- you don't want to accidentally hit a nearby mine! Use you sonar to help better prepare for what lired ahead and to help relocate the enemy submarines. If you lose track of an enemy on the sonay, exit and reenter the sonar screen. It's faster than waiting for the next sonat pulse. For winning a battle, you receive 20 GP and an item.
******GP EXCHANGE******
When you got yourself a good amount of GP, you can go to the lady standing near the door to Wonder Square. She exchanges GP for some cool prizes. Here's what you can get:
( if your wondering what these materia do...heres the answer : Gil Plus Materia gives u EXTRA ***Double*** the money you get after you fight the bad guys! and EXP Plus Materia just gives you extra EX points...NOW...that wasn't to hard to undersatnd was it )
The battle arena is a test of endurance, skill, and strategy. If you are lacking any of those, then this is just what you're looking for. The game is played like this: One player can enter the battle arena and must win 8 battles. If the 8 battles are won, BP (Battle Points) can be exchanged for VERY valuable prizes. To get into the battle, you'll need 10 GP. The only thing you will loose in this battle, is the 10 GP and maybe a few ethers. (NOTE: if you die in the arena, your game is not over. You just go back to the main room.)
The real challenge here, is to stay alive despite handicaps that are placed apon your player. Each time you win a battle, a slot machine is brought up. When you click the button, it will stop. (like any slot machine) Some of the handicaps you receive are harmful. Others are good. In other words, the more harmful the handicap, the more BP you get.
