The Silent Girl
Her silence is a forbidden one
Lonely eyes making all of her music
Spreading emotion like fire
Expressing her sadness acoustically
Her thoughts quietly mutter
Scenes from yesterday
And no one ever stops to think
Maybe her silence has something to say
With melancholy drags of her cigarette
She softly sways her body to the rhythm
Sweet smelling aromas fill the room
Her dead heart lies quiet
A bird asleep in her cage
But inside a voice that says
We cannot all cry like angels
