MTVixen: Welcome to the MTV Arena for this chat with Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt & Tre Cool of Green Day. Green Day hit the big time with their single "Longview" in 1994, a frenetic punk romp that catapulted these California kids into the center of the alternative music storm. Their album Dookie and follow-up effort Insomniac went on to sell a combined 14 million copies in the U.S. "Nimrod," Green Day's fifth full-length album will be out tomorrow. In addition to the familiar pop-punk melodies, expect to hear violin music from That Dog's Petra Haden on this album, as well as (!) horns. Welcome guys!
