The story starts off with Link going to his coming-of-age ceremony which is a tradition in his tribe.Whenever someone reaches adulthood,they recieve a guardian fairy,which accompanies the person through all his journies from that day on.However,Links ceremony is interrupted when a strange creature deep inside the forest captures the captures the The Fairy Tree,the source of all the guardian fairies.With the help of Navie,Link's guardian Fairy,they both slay the creature.Unfortunately,the Fairy Tree is heavily damaged,with it's life force low,the fairy tree mystically speaks to Link "Do not let the thief,Gannondorf,to claim the Triforce...Oh brave one, you must take this sacred stone to a wise man..." Now you may remember Gannondorf as "Gannon" in the previous Zelda's,right now,he's just a mere thief.But this "mere thief" also wanted the Tri-Force...bad,and he searched all over Hyrule for it.Link knew Gannondorf was searching in the forest of his people and he knew he was in danger.He took the stone to Hyrule Castle,capital of the Hyrulian people.There he met Princess Zelda,who is the same age as Link,and told him more about the whereabouts of the Tri-Force and tells Link he needs to finds the three sacred stones which will fit into a magical Ocarina,which serves as the key to hidden realms (levels).The main objective of the game is to find the three sacred stones and get your hands on the Tri-Force before Gannondorf. Thus,eliminating his chances of becoming the ever-powerful "Gannon".

Throughout the game,you will interact with many people.They will help,or mislead you on you're journey.The AI is incredible,and Link makes distinct facial expressions when something happens (happy,scared,mad,etc...).Playing the game is a real treat,the awkward camera angles in Mario are gone,the pixelation in Mario is gone,the pop-up in Turok is gone,the fog in Turok is gone (you could see for miles in Zelda).All this with wonderful music,animation,and enemies and you got yourself the best game in the world.
