I love raising and spending time with my cockatiels. I breed them and hand-feed the babies. I have a passion for scrapbooking (thus the reason I became a Scrapbook Consultant) and riding on our personal water-craft (Yamaha Waverunner). I am a Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) (aka paralegal) and a Scrapbook Consultant. I am also a notary public. I love to travel and am a tweety and egyptian fanatic!

I am a Certified Legal Assistant (aka paralegal). I graduated with a 4.0 from Watterson College Pacific and received my paralegal certificate in 1994, at age 19. Three months after graduating, I sat for the "CLA" exam (comparable to the Baby Bar which is taken after your first year, I believe, in law school) which is a 2 day, 8 hour per day exam, which I passed (70% or above in each section) and received my "CLA" designation, a nationally recognized degree that sets a standardized level of achievement in my profession.
My biggest hobby and passion right now is scrapbooking. I started scrapbooking in August, 1997, when I met my husband. I always loved to save special souvenirs from memorable events, so I thought a scrapbook would be the perfect place to keep my memorabilia and I bought a scrapbook. I had never heard of "scrapbooking" as it is meant today, with pictures too. I just wanted a place to keep my "paper objects" that I always saved from dates, events, trips, etc. Within a week of purchasing my scrapbook, I went to get supplies to hold the items in, and low and behold, I found out the meaning of scrapbooking today! I went nuts and bought all the supplies, stickers, background paper, acid free pens, fancy scissors, paper trimmer, hole punches, glue, die-cuts, photo corners, acid free everything! Then I got home and realized, I had no clue what to do with all this "stuff"! After wading through books, I taught myself a lot, but it was a real struggle to copy these great pages I had no idea what products to use or how to make them. Then I was introduced to a Scrapbook company that I now work for as an independent consultant. That solved everything, I had a consultant there for me to teach me the ropes and to provide me with that uninterrupted scrapping time I needed to get my albums completed! One of my favorite pasttimes is skiing on our personal water-craft, a 1997 Yamaha GP 760 Waverunner. Yamaha Waverunners are far superior to any other personal water-craft out there (in my opinion)! My absolute favorite car maker is Honda/Acura. I will probably always own either a Honda or Acura for the rest of my life. Their technology is just far superior to any other car maker on the market, yet they don't hike up their prices as drastically for every little change, as their competitors do, like Toyota/Lexus do because they are too full of themselves. I loved scrapbooking so much, that I became a Scrapbook Consultant on June 7, 1999 and I am so excited about it! It's a lot of fun, and you are saving and preserving your priceless photographs for many generations to come! I now get to teach people how to create safe, meaningful and creative scrapbook photo albums instead of those harsh pocket page or magnetic photo albums which over time (less than 10 years!) WILL ruin the very photos they were meant to protect by causing fading, cracking, adhesion, warping, discoloration, etc. I personally think my company's products are truly the best out there on the market. Ours are extensively tested so you know you are getting the best and the safest materials out there. If you compare our products to retail store's products, you will see the ENORMOUS difference! You can't compare to walking into a retail store, being fooled by the packing into thinking their products are all 100% photo safe (just because it says "acid-free" does not mean it's safe for your photos! We can tell you why and what else you need to look for too) and being overwhelmed with the choices and not knowing exactly what to do. The company I work through doesn't sell through stores, only through it's consultants. We offer a consultant to go with the products that you can call on to help you with your layouts and answer any questions you will have. We are also there to provide ongoing workshops so you can set aside that time you need each month to work on your scrapbook albums and get away from the distractions at your house like the kids calling you, household chores screaming for you in the back of your mind, telephone ringing, television being on too loud, significant other asking you for this or that, etc. With me, you get a consultant for life, not just products you don't know what to do with.
