uhhhh....
[conversation via e-mail following a chat discussion on expectations - Feb. 23, 1998]
Lilly - Hey DAVE!!
nice chat... good topic ..i think...
can you be my friend and sleep with me??
ahhhhh.. that would be putting a lot of expectation on things, huh?
*shagrin*
never know...
.........nice page, nice words, nice thoughts.... would like to know
more....*s*
talk to you soon?
good luck in school today..
i know how it can be..
well,
hugs&stuff
lilly
Dave - Guess that din't come out quite right did it? OOPS!
I don't
mean to
put expectations on anything. I like just taking things as they
come, and doing my best to enjoy them. What else would you like to
know? I'm an open book. Don't believe in keeping secrets or
spreading gossip, so ask away, and see what you can learn. *VBS*
Lilly -
Dave,
nah, it came out right.... *LOL*
ask anything i want??
okay...
if you could do anything today..
anything in the world,
what would it be??
take your time..
*S*..
have a great day!!
*smile*
lilly
Dave - I guess I don't know what I would do. Since i just got off a
midnight shift before I went to class, the obvious answer would be
Sleep. I think if I could do anything I wanted, I would like to
take a horseback ride with a very special friend. A ride that had no
time limit or destination. Just free time to ride. A friend and an
animal. 2 things that are very important to me. I would just ride
until I got to the perfect place. A place where we would both know
it was right, then I would stop for a romantic picnic with the most
special person in the world.
Lilly - WOW Dave,
that sounds good! would this excursion involve any type of water?
i love water..big bodies, streams, creeks,... putting my feet in after
the thaw of winter..
okay, next Q...do you mind?
no, that's not the Q...
what's your fave and least fave smell?
thanks for your answer...*diggin it*
lilly
Dave - Lots and lots of water. I think maybe to go to a rustling creek, let
the horses have a drink and some rest. I too, like the feel of cool
water running over my feet.Lots and lots of water. I think maybe to go to a rustling creek, let

My favorite smell is the smell of a wood burning stove. I love the
smell of different types of wood as they fill the air in the room
with aroma. My least favorite smell is the smell of rotting flesh.
I grew up on a farm, and when one of the animals died, we just pulled
them out of the lot, and left them laying in the sun until the
rendering plant came to pick them up. *YUCK
Lilly -
wow..sounds nice!
my fave smell is a toss up..
lilacs or the natural scent of a man,
no soaps, or perfumes...
my worst so far, i think..
is rotten potatoes..
i could gag!!
i'll think of another q in a few..
thanks..*S*
*smile*
lilly
Lilly - dave, nice songs you have in your life...
it was nice to see you at chat..
i don't know why you didn't get the mail yet..
so i will do a recap..
i said, my fave smell is a toss up..
between lilacs and a natural man..
no soap or perfume,
and my least fave is rotting potatoes..
yikes..gag me.!!!
so, here's a question,
when you listen to music, do you see a color...
like, when you hear ventura highway...
wht color is prominent in your mind??
thanks for asking...i mean answering..
i'll be back sooon..
peace and love
lilly
Dave - Actually, When I hear "Ventura Highway", I see the color blue, as in
Sky blue. I close my eyes, and imagine myself being in the song.
Cruising down a highway, and nothing but the wind in my hair and the
blue sky in my face.
Lilly - Hmmmm Nice Dave...
a real nice image...
now another question..
do you want to get married?
??
lilly
Dave - Absolutely, I want to get married. It just isn't going to be a
rushed thing where I don't go in with my head on straight. I'm going
to wait until the person AND the time is right. I'm not going to
settle for one or the other. Why do you ask? You interested? *VBS*
Lilly - Dave,
could be, but i'm not rushing either. I've been single a long time, and
being in a relationship like that scares me as much as being alone
scares most women.... *S*
i feel i will be at my best when i have someone to share and grow in
this life with... two heads are better than one, as long as they are the
right heads....
okay...
what is your greatest fear?
....lilly
Dave - My greatest fear is dying very young, and not leaving a legacy of
some sort. I'm afraid of leaving this world, and not making it
better for at least someone.
Lilly - Dave,
One of my biggest fears is waking up to find i am the kind of person i
dislike most....
Yes, I AM writing a book...!! soooooo
One more question dave...
i write alot, and publish somethings...on the net...
if the spirit moves me, could i use any of this interview in my
writings? with or with/out credit to you?
ohhh..and one more question...
what do you think of all this?
i'm sure more questions will come to mind..
rarely do i find a guy eager to answer..
you must be an open book kind of guy..
i like that...
*S*
lilly
Dave -
Lilly, you can use any of this you want, but only on one condition.
I get absolutely NO credit for it. I am an open book kind of guy,
but if someone wants to know about me, they will have to ask me. Ok?
What do I think of all your questions? Or what do i think about you?
I think the questions are great, adn you seem pretty straight forward
too.
Lilly -
I like that Dave...
my writings usually aren't specific..about certain individuals, but
things i like and qualities to help be a whole, balanced person...
okay..i give.. one more question...
what DO you think of me? so far...
thanks dave,
i'm sure i'm not done...(S
lil
Dave -
I think you are a very probing person, who probably intimidates guys
by being very direct. A quality which I find very attractive in
women. I think you are a very caring, and very sensitive person who
cares about others as much as she wants them to care about her. I
think respect is very important in your life, adn you give respect to
everyone. How am I doing so far?
Lilly - GodDave!!
you are doing great! wow! i'm very flattered....sooooooo... insightful,
intellegent... hmmmm... obviously a hunk.. are you by any chance
married, gay, dead, canadian, or a bishop?
seems all the good ones are.....
i just want more more more...*S*
thanks..
lil
The morning after:
Dave - Okay, Answers to your last question: No, no, no, no, and no. I am
currently sort of seeing someone though. We haven't figured out
exactly where we stand, but it's basically a situation where we both
do what we want until we can decide. She's in Colorado, and I'm in
Iowa, so right now, it really can't be anything more than that.
