I'll start by saying this: It doesn't matter what you've done. It doesn't matter how messed up you are, we've all fallen short. If you're even wondering if God will forgive you, you haven't committed an unpardonable sin--He WILL forgive you!!! God loves you SO MUCH (yes, even you) !!! If you've come to the place where you believe what Jesus did for you was the real deal, and you want to get rid of the sin in your life, accept his forgiveness, and spend forever in heaven--- Pray this prayer, and mean it with everything inside of you:

Jesus, I know I've messed up so many times, and I can't go on doing things my way. I believe that you died to pay the price for my sins. I believe that you gave me right standing with God in place of that sin. I accept that right now. I believe that you were raised from the dead so that I could go to heaven to be with you when I die. From now on, I will, with your help, do whatever you tell me to do. You are my Lord, Jesus. Thank you for saving me!!! Amen (So be it).

Do you know what the Bible says about you now?

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new." (2 Cor.5:17)

You have three parts---spirit, soul, and body.
Your body wants to lead you to do messed up stuff.
Your spirit (which was just re-created with the character of God if you prayed that prayer and meant it) wants to obey God's Way of doing things. Your soul (your mind, will, and emotions) is the deciding factor. Will it be God's Way, or the wrong way? You must decide. The way to train your mind to weigh the balance toward God's Way is to "renew your mind" on the Word of God.

"And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove (bring into existence) what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."(Rom.12:2)

You do this is by studying the Bible to see what God wants you to do. It's best to start with the New Testament, since that's the contract you just "signed" with God. For help in understanding the Bible, He's given you the Holy Spirit inside of you. But He's also established churches with pastors and other people to help you get on the right track. Find one that believes all of the Bible, and get involved. One little booklet that will help you get going is available FREE from KCM. Write to them at:
